Audit Committee

WITH RESPECT to the February 1, 2024 meeting of the Audit Committee, we recommend that the agenda as printed, including any additional information and new business, be confirmed.

THAT the Minutes of Meeting 03-2023 Audit Committee, held on September 28, 2023, be confirmed.

THAT the Terms of Reference, updated with changes to some administration titles, as presented at the February 1, 2024 meeting of the Audit Committee, be accepted.

THAT the Internal Audit Charter, updated with changes to some administration titles, as presented at the February 1, 2024 meeting of the Audit Committee, be accepted.

WITH RESPECT to the Audit Planning Report, the Audit Committee accepts the plan for the audit of the consolidated financial statements of The Corporation of the City of Thunder Bay for the year ending December 31, 2023, as presented by BDO at the February 1, 2024 committee meeting.

WITH RESPECT to the 2024 – 2026 Internal Audit Workplan, the Audit Committee approves the plan as presented by John Tyson, Acting Manager – Internal Audit at the February 1, 2024 Audit Committee Meeting.
