WITH RESPECT to the Canadian Heritage Rivers Initiatives Presentation provided at the November 27, 2025 Heritage Advisory Committee meeting, the Committee supports in principle, the nomination of the initiative to supplement the existing Boundary Waters Voyageur Waterway – Canadian Heritage Rivers System designation with the addition of the Lake Superior to Lake of the Woods waterway. AND THAT a letter of support be provided to the Canadian Heritage Rivers Technical Planning Committee.
